About Peachtree Telecom
Peachtree Telecommunications Int’l, LLC (PTI) is a general contractor and nationally certified Women Business Enterprise/Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (WBE/DBE) providing turnkey project management, distribution, installation and engineering support for digital video, audio, data and security solutions over fiber-optic, wireless and closed-circuit television (CCTV) networks within the transportation, oil and gas, public safety, municipal, campus, military and federal government arenas. In 2012, PTI received Federal 8-M (EDWOSB) Economically Disadvantaged Woman Owned Small Business certification for this woman set-aside program. Headquartered in Atlanta and operating multiple 100,000+ square-foot warehouses in five U.S. locations, PTI has completed national, regional and local projects in 10 countries for businesses, educational institutions, and military and government agencies.
Founded in 1985, PTI was acquired by the present owners in January 2001 during a time of economic volatility in the telecommunication industry. Despite market challenges, PTI managed to not only remain profitable, but to grow its revenue on a yearly basis and solidify its reputation for creative sourcing services, meeting customer needs when other distributors could not.
PTI is a member of numerous professional organizations including the National Telecommunications Corporations of America (NTCA), the Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers (SCTE), the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC), the Building Industry Consulting Service International (BICSI), the United Telecommunications Council (UTC), Intelligent Transportation Engineers (ITE), the United States Telecommunications Association (USTA) and the ASIS International organization for security professionals.
